Math at Monte Vista

The math department at Monte Vista is designed for students to think quantitatively and able to apply reasoning skills within the classroom and beyond. It is the goal of Monte Vista to prepare students with the skills necessary to be ready for all facets of post-graduation life.

*CP denotes College Prep or On-Level Classes, H denotes Honors, all CP and H classes satisfy A-G requirements.
 
The Math Department is committed to supporting all students. This includes designated after-school math tutoring center times and before school Calculus Club for those in the AP curriculum.
 
All Monte Vista Math classes fulfill A-G requirements for students to be eligible to apply to UC (University of California) and CSU (California State University) schools.
 
Students are required to pass 30 credits (3 years) of Math classes to graduate.
