About Computer Science Pathway

The Computer Science Pathway is a 4-year pathway that spans all 4 years of high school. Students can enter at any point in time for different levels of pathway completion. The sequence is as follows:

Honors Computer Science Essentials
AP Computer Science Principles
AP Computer Science A
AP Cybersecurity

The pathways maintains certain principles and ideas. That students create real things, not just worksheets. Students work in project-based, not test-only classes. The pathway allows for students to be both college and career ready with AP Credit and industry certifications like CompTIA A+.
