The Monte Vista Community Center in Room 1004 is a resource center serving the community of Spring Valley as Monte Vista develops as a whole-child focused community school. This includes: integrated student support as well as family and community engagement.
 
The community center is run by our Community Resource Counselor, Brennie Schisler, and our Community Liaison, Darryl Sykes. Through their efforts, the Monte Vista Community Center is proud to provide the following supports to our campus community and their families including:
  • MVHS Food Pantry every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 1-2 pm
  • Mental health support and counseling for students
  • Clothing, shoes, school supplies, and hygeine kits
  • At-home WiFi (Cox) Support
  • Pronto Youth Cards for local transit use
  • And many other resources!
