At Monte Vista, we want to make your transition to high school as smooth as possible.  This guide will help you with the process. If you would like to speak to someone directly, contact us at (619) 660-3000.

Registration is happening NOW and can be completed from the convenience of your home. To complete the process you need two proofs of residency, immunization records and a birth certificate. For a detailed guide or to begin the registration process, click here

If you do not have access to a computer or scanner, you're welcome to come on campus and use one of ours. We will have the computer labs open with trained staff to guide you through the registration process on the following days: TBD

If you can't make one of the open lab days or need additional information, please contact Saul Hernandez at (619) 660-3041 to set up an appointment.

Monte Vista's Guidance Staff will be visiting La Mesa Middle School, Spring Valley Middle School, La Presa Middle School, Lemon Grove Academy, Parkway Middle School and Hillsdale Middle School to explain your student's academic future at Monte Vista. Students attending middle schools not listed above will be contacted individually.

Join us on Tuesday, April 26th to meet teachers and staff and discover what it means to be a Monarch. The free BBQ begins at 5:30pm and is followed by breakout sessions, campus tours and showcase tables to help you get connected with Monte Vista before the school year begins.

If you are unable to attend any of the Class of 2020  events you can arrange an individual appointment with our Guidance Staff by calling (619) 660-3040.

The Class of 2020 will come together before school starts to learn about Monte Vista and participate in a variety of fun activities. They'll have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet staff and find their classrooms.
